THE GLEN
We make no bones about the fact that Glen Sligachan is all about the mountains, rivers, moorland and lochs. Within this awesome scenery, we proudly offer a comfortable place to rest your head, whether that be tucked away in the comfort of one of our self catering properties or pitching up beneath the Cuillin.
LOCATION
We like to say that we are in the middle of nowhere but the centre of everywhere. Being located right off the A87 (the main road that runs through Skye), we are easily accessible to all including those travelling by public transport. Being so centrally located on Skye makes us a fantastic spring-board for visiting the rest of the Island's best-known landmarks, few of which are more than an hour's drive from Sligachan. Portree (Skye's capital) is only 9 miles North, so is within easy reach for topping up on fuel or grabbing provisions. Although very rural, we offer barista coffee and snacks in our campsite shop and tacos every evening (from April-September).
