Perched high amid the pines, our Blackhouse cabins offer a secluded vantage to enjoy Glen Sligachan’s quiet magic.
Overview:
Each Blackhouse has a large open plan kitchen / dining area / living room with large windows framing the massive mountain, river & moorland views. There are two bedrooms and two shower rooms on the downstairs floor along with a large entrance porch / drying area. Upstairs is a further bedroom and a mezzanine area for relaxing.
There is outside seating offering panoramic views of the Cuillin mountains plus parking on site for 2 cars.
The Nitty Gritty:
The kitchen is fully fitted with a large fridge / freezer, oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, toaster and kettle. We provide all utensils needed to cook plus dishwasher tabs & detergents. We provide shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower rooms as well as loo rolls and towels. All bed linen is provided. There will also be laundry detergent available for the washing machine.
£350 PER NIGHT | 3 NIGHT MIN
The Blackhouse Cabins are available to book for a minimum of 3 nights with check-in/out available on a Friday and a Tuesday.
All reservations require a non-refundable deposit payment of 50% at the time of booking, with the final balance being due 40 days in advance of your stay.

If I’m honest how fabulous this place is everyone will want to book to stay here and we’ll never get a chance to come back! That tells you everything. This is a wee gem in the magnificence of Skye. We’re definitely making it an annual trip. Thanks to the crew at Sligachan.

My only complaint is that we didn't stay long enough! This place is incredible! The pictures don't do it justice! Very clean, it was wonderful to have a washer AND dryer, good location, good restaurant at the bottom of the hill and the views from all the rooms were breathtaking! This sweet Blackhouse makes me want to come back to Skye even more!

This is an exceptional place to stay on Skye. The living room window has a full view of the Red and Black Cuillin in front of a beautiful log burner. The house is modern yet cosy and full of amenities - including a washer and dryer.
